Hi, I’m Gabriel!
I’m a Staff Software Engineer at Cabify, working on backend systems, platform architecture, event-driven integrations, observability, and developer experience.
Most of my recent work has been focused on building and operating Elixir/Phoenix services in production: designing Ecto schemas, integrating with external systems, improving telemetry, reviewing architecture decisions, and helping teams build more reliable backend systems.
This publication is where I write practical notes about software engineering from the perspective of someone working with real production systems.
